Evenheat Studio Pro 28 Glass Kiln

Redesigned!
Now includes solid State relays and Icon + Genesis wifi enabled, touch screen controller.

Limitations? Not with the Evenheat Studio Pro 28 Kiln. This electric glass kiln for sale offers both front and top access for full artistic control. We call it Dual Access Design and it means you're not limited to front-load only or top-load only designs. With the Studio Pro 28 you get both.
Front load is perfect for glass placement directly on the large 24" x 24" kiln shelf. There are no walls to avoid or work around, just straight to the shelf. Horizontal glass manipulation like raking and combing are unrestricted.

Top Load makes loading and positioning of forms and molds easy and exact. Glass placement for slumping and draping operations is very easy and precise when coming in from the top. Top load also allows for vertical glass manipulation such as embossing. If you plan to slump and/or drape you'll want top load.
The Evenheat Studio Pro 28 Kiln is available with a variety of controls from the TAP touchscreen to the economical Set-Pro. It's also available with our Quiet Drive Solid State output that delivers tight temperature control, longer heating element life and no relays to ever replace.

Like all of our kilns for sale, the Evenheat Studio Pro 28 Kiln is equipped with our exclusive Swing View Adjustable Enclosure. The swing view positions the controls in a pivoting enclosure that can be rotated up for a natural and relaxed position for programming and use. This same enclosure can then be rotated to the down position so controls can be viewed from across the studio. Programming your kiln should not be an exercise in gymnastics and the swing view is a welcome feature.
This electric glass kiln for sale is delivered in two easy to manage sections so kiln location options abound. Navigating tight hallways or doors for setup is not an issue.

The Evenheat Studio Pro 28 Kiln incorporates Evenheat's new relay access port (Pat. Pend.) for simple, no-panel-off relay replacement.
Simply remove the plate to gain access to the service part. There's no need to remove or swing the entire control panel out of the way and dig into the internal wiring. It's absolutely simple and effective and all it takes is a simple screwdriver!

The defining and most dramatic feature of Evenheat Studio Pro 28 Kiln is the front opening design. Front opening offers the glass artist unrestricted and wall-free access directly to the kiln floor.
Front access is perfect for glass placement, particularly with glass that can't be disturbed once placed. Simply build on your shelf and close the chamber.
Front access is also great when using manipulation tools that require a horizontal approach such as raking or glass roll ups.

As part of the Studio Pro design concept the Evenheat Studio Pro 28 Kiln offers top access.
Top access comes in very handy when using manipulation tools that require a vertical approach such as glass embossing or when loading glass forms. It's also very useful for venting purposes.

With front access, the Evenheat Studio Pro 28 Kiln offers the artist a wall-free work surface.
The wall-free design provides wide open space for the precision placement of your glass. There's nothing to fight or work around.
It's an incredible design feature that essentially defines the Studio Pro 28.

Swing View Adjustable Control
The Swing View Adjustable Control is a pivoting, swing-up enclosure that allows the user to rotate the Rampmaster control to a comfortable viewing and programming angle. It's that simple. You're going to really enjoy this feature.
The Swing View Adjustable Control is stock equipped on the Evenheat Studio Pro 28 Kiln.

We've fitted the Studio Pro 28 with two wonderfully wide and sturdy bar handles. These corner mounted handles are placed well away from the kiln for easy operation. you'll enjoy using them.
If you're familiar with Evenheat kilns for sale, you know we love handles. Handles provide access and they should be designed for the job, be comfortable and easy to use.

The lid of the Evenheat Studio Pro 28 Kiln is constructed of a special fiber material that provides excellent thermal properties along with light weight. This design also allows the heating elements to be positioned on the surface for maximum heat transfer and firing efficiency.
We position our lid heating elements left to right to prevent them from sagging or bunching-up with repeated opening and closing. It's a small but important detail that guarantees performance and satisfaction over the life of the kiln.

Evenheat works closely with control manufacturers Bartlett Instruments and SDS Industries to bring you the best in performance, features and programming ease.
TAP Touchscreen, full featured touchscreen control with user-defined and preset programs for glass, metal clay and ceramic. This kiln for sale also features full-text graphics, cost per firing, and graphing along with wi-fi compatibility with web and mobile apps and more.
Genesis Touchscreen, full featured touchscreen control with user-defined and preset programs.
Rampmaster 3 (RM3), full featured control with user-defined and preset programs for glass. Features a 4 digit display.
Economical Set-Pro, 3 button control with user-defined and preset programs for glass, metal clay and ceramic. Features a 4 digit display.
Spring Assist Lift
To assist in front opening the Studio Pro 28 includes a spring assist feature. This well designed mechanism travels cleanly and does not pull the artist into the kiln like lesser designs.
In the heat of battle you need a smooth and anxious-free movement and the Studio Pro 28 delivers.

Stout Hinge Design
The Studio Pro 28 chamber pivot is secured to the base of the kiln, not the floor. This strong and sturdy pivot supports the load easily and is reinforced internally for exceptional strength.
This chamber pivot is critical to the overall performance and life of the kiln. it is the details that make Evenheat "Better by Design".
The Studio Pro 28 is standard equipped with a power interrupt switch which removes electrical power from all heating elements if either the lid or chamber is opened. This is important for those who may access the kiln during firing such as glass manipulation and roll-ups.

Well Designed Stand
Kiln stands tend to get overlooked by some manufacturers. Not Evenheat. The stand on the Studio Pro 28 is more than a simple stand and was engineered from the ground up to take the loads and requirements of use.
The Studio Pro 28 stand is permanently attached to the kiln base itself and is shipped completely assembled. We don't use temporary or quick release fasteners as these are prone to failure. it is a solid design that quietly does its job.
