What makes Spectrum Glazes stand out among ceramic glaze manufacturers is their exclusive focus on glaze excellence. Founded in 1979 by Robert Arnfield, who brought over 25 years of glass industry expertise, Spectrum has dedicated itself entirely to creating the highest quality, most colorful, and diverse fired finishes available. Over more than 20 years of development and refinement, Spectrum has perfected formulations using ceramic frits and stains as principal ingredients — delivering superior color intensity, brightness, and consistency compared to glazes made from raw oxides and minerals alone.

Spectrum’s advanced formulations use a higher percentage of color stains to produce brilliant, saturated, and dependable hues that fire true every time. Each batch is carefully tested for consistency, reliability, and finish quality — ensuring professional results in every firing range from low-fire earthenware to high-fire stoneware and porcelain.

At Sheffield Pottery, we take pride in offering the complete line of Spectrum Ceramic Glazes for potters and ceramic artists who demand both performance and beauty. Bring your work to life with Spectrum — where color, chemistry, and craftsmanship meet.
