Skutt Kilns in the Classroom
Skutt kilns are safe and reliable making them perfect for any school or classroom studio. Most Skutt kilns feature UL / CSA safety listing for studio and classroom safety.Note that the solid-state relay option may negate the safety rating on models other than the PK Production Kilns.

From the smallest test kiln to the massive 18.5 cubic foot capacity KM1627 Skutt offers a kiln for every clay or glass studio.
For glass artists, Skutt Kilns offers professional-grade kilns for glass fusing and flame-working.
For the active home ceramics studio, the top sellers include the 10 sided, 23x27" 1027 series and the 23"x22" 1022 series.
A hobby potter may enjoy the smaller 8 sided, 18"x18" 818 series.
All of these kilns have the option of better insulation of 3" brick. Skutt kilns with 3? are designated -3 in the model number.
All of these Skutt kilns are automatic kilns. This means they have a programmable digital controller. They all also have the option to upgrade to the state-of-the-art Touch-Screen Controller with superior diagnostics on board, wifi monitoring, and a variety of ceramics, glass, and PMC presets!

Natural Sheffield Clay is mined on our property from as seen at one of the open clay pits. The Sheffield Clay deposit is located in Sheffield, Massachusetts, on U.S. Route 7 in the Southwest corner of Berkshire County.
