Finding the right machine

Slab rollers roll even slabs for handbuilding and tile. We carry North Star, Brent and Shimpo, from table-top rollers like the North Star Portaroller to larger rollers like the Shimpo SR-3050.

Clay extruders push clay through a die for coils, handles, tubes and tile. Choose from North Star, Scott Creek, Brent and Peter Pugger. For heavy work, look at the North Star Big Blue 6-inch extruder.

Pugmills and clay mixers mix new clay and reclaim your scrap. We carry Peter Pugger, Shimpo, Bluebird and Soldner.

For glaze and slip, there are ball mills from Shimpo and Peter Pugger, the RAM fountain glazer and vacuum hands, and Lehman mixers, pumps and casting tables.

Spray booths come from Laguna and Paasche, and HEPA vacuums from Tiger-Vac and Unitec keep clay dust down.
