LOCKERBIE Model EK Electric Kick Wheel: Includes $90 Crating Fee
Model EK, the motorized electric kick wheel with an optional reversing switch, is driven by a heavy-duty 1/3 hp motor with a rubber friction drive. When the drive is disengaged the wheel will operate as a manual kick wheel. To use the drive, simply depress the foot pedal to engage the rubber drive against the edge of the flywheel. Speed range is 0-157 RPM. The pottery kick wheel is whisper quiet, controlled with a switch conveniently located at the edge of the work table and has enough power to center 50 lbs of clay.
Option: You can add a reversing switch.

- Overall Size: 36" x 42" x 28"
- Frame: Steel pipe and angle iron, welded into a rigid tripod unit. The edge of the flywheel is completely shielded by heavy steel bands. Finished in light gray enamel.
- Flywheel: Reinforced concrete flywheel with a textured surface to provide positive traction for kicking. 28" diameter
- Work Table: Made of heavy gauge aluminum and reinforced to support up to 200 lbs. Large enough to hold bucket, clay and tools.
- Bearings: Chosen for smooth operation. Under the flywheel is a tapered, roller bearing protected by a 3" shield. Under the wheelhead is a ball bearing.
- Seat: Made from red oak.
- Splash Pan: Included on both models.
- Motor: (on motorized model only) 1/3 hp 120 volt capacitor start. Engaged by foot pedal which makes motorized model adaptable for use either as an electric kick wheel or power wheel.
