Product Description:
The Cone Art BX2818D round kiln is a perfect choice for firing wide objects such as platters yet the low profile of 18" makes it easy to load and unload. This double insulated ceramic kiln is lined 2½" of premium firebrick plus 1" of solid block insulation. This extra insulation provides a cooler , safer jacket and will save a calculated 32% in energy costs over a conventional 2.5" brick kiln. It will even save 19.3% in electricity costs compared to a 3" brick kiln.
