Access Port (Pat. Pend.)
This oven incorporates Evenheat's new relay access port (Pat. Pend.) for simple, no-panel-off relay replacement.
Simply remove the plate to gain access to the service part. There's
no need to remove or swing the entire control panel out of the way and
dig into the internal wiring. It's absolutely simple and effective and
all it takes is a simple screwdriver!
The handle on our swing out door is conveniently located at the
front of the door, not hidden along the side. This spring loaded,
phenolic handle is cool to the touch, is one-handed in design and serves
as the door latch as well.
Corner Mounting Technique
The corners of the oven body and door provide excellent strength
for mounting. The flat sides of the oven don't offer this strength. We
install our load bearing hinge brackets on these corners for this very
reason. Longer life, high reliability: solid design makes a difference.
Excellent Temperature Distribution
Evenheat knife ovens are true to their name and the KF and KO Series are
no different. Our designs are well known for their excellent
temperature uniformity. They're done well and you'll appreciate the
Full Stainless Jacket
Multi-section ovens are designed to lower production costs for
the oven manufacturer. it is a worthy goal but it comes at the cost of
oven quality. It's a trade off we're not willing to make. We build our ovens with full stainless jackets from front to back. Full jackets
mean absolutely solid, life extending construction. There are no leaks,
no shifting, no buckles and no weakness. Insist on Full Stainless
Jackets for true build quality.
High Temp Heating Elements
Evenheat uses only high quality Sandvik/Kanthal heating element
wire in all of products. This oven is equipped with Sandvik A-1 alloy
that is designed specifically for high temperature applications.
We wind our heating elements on our own special machinery to ensure consistency and tight tolerance.
Loud Alarm Output Jack
Evenheat knife and heat treat ovens are standard equipped with a Loud Alarm output jack for use with our Loud Alarm Option.
most shops, knife maker and heat treat shops can be noisy. And, like
most shops, distractions can get in the way of some very nice work. Cut
through your shop noise with our Loud Alarm Option. The Loud Alarm
sounds at a loud 80+ decibels! You'll never miss the opportunity to
properly quench again.
The loud alarm option alerts the user when
the heat treat process temperature and hold has been reached, and more
importantly, when it's over and it's time to quench. Rampmaster and TAP
control equipped Evenheat knife and heat treat oven models include a
built-in alarm jack for easy install: simply attach the optional loud
alarm and plug it in.
Multiple Control Options
Evenheat works closely with control manufacturers Bartlett
Instruments and SDS Industries to bring you the best in performance,
features and programming ease.
Control Options Include:
TAP Touchscreen, full featured touchscreen control with user-defined
and preset programs for glass, metal clay and ceramic. Also features
full-text graphics, cost per firing, and graphing along with wi-fi
compatibility with web and mobile apps and more.
Genesis Touchscreen, full featured touchscreen control with user-defined and preset programs.
Rampmaster 3 (RM3), full featured control with user-defined and preset programs for glass. Features a 4 digit display.
Economical Set-Pro, 3 button control with user-defined and preset
programs for glass, metal clay and ceramic. Features a 4 digit display.
Our thermocouples (temperature sensors) are chosen for their
quick response and reliable performance. Our standard thermocouple is a
Type K. Type S thermocouples are available by request on Rampmaster
equipped ovens at additional charge.
Side Opening Door
Working in the heat is fun, trying to avoid it isn't. Doors that
swing down throw off massive amounts of heat just below the chamber
entrance. Our side hinged doors swing out to the left to keep the heat
away for more cool and comfortable use. It's an excellent design choice
that makes all the difference.
Swing View Adjustable Control
The Swing View Adjustable Control is a pivoting, swing-up
enclosure that allows the user to rotate the Rampmaster control to a
comfortable viewing and programming angle. It is that simple. You're
going to really enjoy this feature. The Swing View Adjustable Control is
stock equipped on this oven.
Thick, 3" Firebrick Insulation
The KO 18 is built using extra-thick 3" firebrick. This special
brick allows the KO 18 to reach maximum temperature with ease while
storing more heat for sequential heat treats.
