For using your expanded metal filter guard in your kiln: Provides one layer of kiln shelving with no floor element. With this you can put your filter container right on the floor of the kiln without damaging the soft brick floor.
Floor elements get damaged by the materials from the filters creating a problem so we leave out that problematic element. This will also decrease the amperage needed for the kiln.
We can also decrease the amperage draw further if you are restricted in that way.
