These Mason Color Works stains can be used as body stains to color porcelain and other clay bodies at high temperatures. All of the brown colors can also be used as body stains, but the shade varies considerably with the composition of the clay body and the firing temperature. Always test-fire a sample of your colored body first.
Looking for a specific stain? Use the Mason Stain Finder to search all of our Mason stains by number, old K-number or name, or tick Body stain to see every stain that can color a clay body, with its composition and firing limit.
Every Mason Stain is sold by the quarter pound and ships free. Quantity discounts apply automatically: order 4–19 of the same color (1 lb or more) and save 33%, or 20 or more (5 lb or more) and save 44%. All quantities of a color ship together in a single bag.
