Encapsulated (inclusion) Mason stains give the brightest ceramic reds, oranges and corals. Cadmium-selenium pigment is sealed inside zircon crystals during manufacture, so these stains hold their color in glazes where ordinary cadmium colors would burn out. Most can be blended with our standard stains.
