Shadow Blue is a cone 6 oxidation glaze.Shadow Blue is a semi-transparent, glossy blue glaze. On porcelain it will be a lighter blue, on white clay it will be a slightly darker blue, on red clay it will be a dark blue-green. Try layering these glazes for unlimited combinations and effects but check tips to avoid too much glaze on the runnier ones.
- Add 10 ounces of water per dry pound of glaze and mix – let sit overnight
and then add 2 ounces of water per dry pound of glaze and mix again. We
usually let them sit overnight again before using.

This glaze is formulated for dipping or pouring applications. If you want to use this glaze for brushing you will need to add CMC or commercial brushing media such as this one from Spectrum : Spectrum-Glaze-1070-Brushing-Media-Pint .
