Clayscapes Glazes For Cone 6 : CP21 COPPER PATINA
Copper Patina is a Matte Blue Turquoise cone 5/6 oxidation glaze. Copper Patina looks best when 1 coat is applied. Mix to hydrometer reading 1.45. The image is Copper Patina on White Stoneware. This glaze is not food appropriate and should be used for decorative purposes. Try layering these glazes for unlimited combinations and effects but check tips to avoid too much glaze on the runnier ones.
  • Add 12 ounces of water per dry pound of glaze and mix – let sit overnight and then add an additional 2 ounces of water per dry pound of glaze and mix again. We usually let them sit overnight again before using.
