Suitability:
Like the Original Studio Pro, the design of the Studio Pro 14 was driven by the demands of glass work. Glass work is a fairly active process. It relies heavily on visual cues, opening and closing while firing, fast action and all sorts of movement. It's a lot of fun and the Studio Pro 14 only adds to the enjoyment. It doesn't hinder, compromise or get in the way. It just works well.
The Studio Pro 14 also works very well in the more traditional firing styles such as metal clays, low fire ceramics, enamels and china painting. While not as active as glass, these types of firings do require a kiln that's properly designed and built for use. Since the Studio Pro 14 is an Evenheat design, you know you're getting that as well.
The Evenheat Studio Pro 14 kiln will fire any ware up to 1650°F (900°C)
(Shown Above with 3 key controller: you can select the upgrade to the Rampmaster 12 Key Upgrade as shown left)
The Rampmaster w/ Express Mode was designed
exclusively for glass work. Express Mode offers an easy, 3 step
programming process. Simply key in your glass COE, firing style and
firing speed to create the firing program. It's quick, it's easy and
it's accurate.
The Rampmaster with Express Mode also features many single key
features like Skip Ahead, Add Time, Add Temp and Alarm. Of course the
Rampmaster continues to offer Custom Mode programming for full artistic
control. The Rampmaster with Express Mode has set a new standard for
glass kiln design and control.
You may also choose the Bartlett Genesis Touch Screen Controller or the state of the art TAP Touchscreen Controller.
With front access, the Studio Pro 14 offers the artist a wall-free work
surface. The wall-free design provides wide open space for the precision
placement of your glass. There's nothing to fight or work around. It's an incredible design feature that essentially defines the Studio Pro 14 120 volt glass kiln.

Front Access
Front access is perfect for glass placement, particularly with
glass that can't be disturbed once placed. Simply build on your shelf
and close the chamber. Front access is also great when using
manipulation tools that require a horizontal approach such as raking or
glass roll ups.
Access Port (Pat. Pend.)
The Studio Pro 14 STP incorporates Evenheat's new relay access port (Pat. Pend.) for simple, no-panel-off relay replacement.
Simply remove the plate to gain access to the service part. There's
no need to remove or swing the entire control panel out of the way and
dig into the internal wiring. It's absolutely simple and effective and
all it takes is a simple screwdriver!
Top Access
Top access is excellent for venting. Top access also works very
well when loading forms and comes in very handy when using manipulation
tools that require a vertical approach such as glass embossing.
Wonderful Handles
We've fitted the Studio Pro 14 with two wonderfully wide and
sturdy bar handles. These corner mounted handles are placed well away
from the kiln for easy operation. You'll enjoy using them.
If
you're familiar with Evenheat you know we love handles. Handles provide
access and they should be designed for the job, be comfortable and easy
to use.
Wall-Free Design
With front access, the Studio Pro 14 offers the artist a
wall-free work surface. The wall-free design provides wide open space
for the precision placement of your glass. There's nothing to fight or
work around. it is an incredible design feature that essentially defines
the Studio Pro 14.
Set-Pro with Express Mode
The Set-Pro is our economical, 3 button control and features
Express Mode and Custom programming along with the traditional 4 digit
display.
The Set-Pro with Express Mode allows you to select pre-loaded
programs in a quick and easy style. For more advanced firing, the
Set-Pro also allows you to define all the firing details using the
Custom Mode. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned veteran the Set-Pro
with Express Mode has you covered with features and reliable operation.
"On-the-Fly" features allow you to add time and temperature to your holds along with a skip ahead feature.
The Set-Pro control will work with our Quiet Drive Solid State Relay System.
Multi-Position Lid Vent
The Studio Pro 14 is fitted with a 2 position lid vent. Lid
venting is great when you're firing off adhesives or binders. it is also
great for speeding up the cooling process. The lid vent on the Studio
Pro 14 positions the lid at approximately 1" and 1-3/4".
Engineered Element Path
The heating element path is designed specifically for the Studio
Pro 14 firing chamber and provides even heating across the entire
firing surface.
We design all of our element paths for performance. it is a detail you expect from Evenheat.
Corner Mounting Technique
The corners of the kiln body and lid provide excellent strength
for mounting. The flat sides of the kiln don't offer this strength,
especially on square shaped kilns. We install our load bearing hinge,
lid vent and lid handle brackets on these corners for this reason.
Longer life, high reliability: solid design makes a difference.
Bench Top Operation
The Studio Pro 14 is designed to be placed directly on your
counter or bench top or within the included floor stand. The choice is
yours.
Bench top operation positions the kiln at waist level for very comfortable front access use.
Please note that counters and bench tops must be constructed of non-combustible material.
Floor Stand Included
The Studio Pro 14 is supplied with a 16" stand for optional
floor placement if desired. Floor stand operation positions the kiln
perfectly for top access.
Power Cord Exits to Rear
The power cable on the Studio Pro 14 exits the control panel to
the rear. This keeps it away from the kiln chamber while keeping your
work area free of clutter
