Skutt Glass Fusing Kiln: Firebox 8 GMLT

This kiln offers all the convenience features of the FireBox 8 plus the GlassMaster LT3 Button Controller, which allows users to write and store up to five programs with up to eight segments each. It also includes the exclusive Skutt Glass Fire Mode — simply choose Fuse, Tack Fuse, or Slump, pick a speed based on the size and thickness of the project, and press "start."

Features of the GMLT FireBox 8 include an 8" × 8" × 4½" chamber, a "cool-to-the-touch" wood handle, and a stand.

Body lifts Off Base!
Sometimes when you are assembling a piece you do not want to risk moving it. The FireBox 8 was purposely constructed so the body of the kiln can be easily removed simply by undoing a buckle. This allows you to assemble your piece right on the shelf as it sits in the kiln and then place the body of the kiln back over it.
