42 Moist Stoneware Clay Body is a coarse stoneware pottery clay with a lot of tooth with a very unique color, texture, and throwing qualities. Orange at cone 6 but darkens at higher temperatures. In wood and other reduction firings it can show various colors including iridescent purples. Contains Lizella which is a coarse fire clay so although the clay does not have a lot of grog added, the Lizella adds a coarseness giving it great tooth on the wheel.
