This class pack of Amaco opalescent glazes for low-fire pottery contains six 1-pint tubs of each of the following: O-30 Autumn Leaf, O-52 Fuchsia, O-20 Bluebell, O-21 Aquamarine, O-23 Sapphire Blue, and O-26 Turquoise.
Although AMACO® Opalescent Glazes may be used on any low-fire clay, they
develop their greatest opalescence and most interesting textures when
applied over red and terra cotta earthenware clay bodies. The AMACO®
Opalescent Glazes have a high gloss finish when fired. Best results are
achieved with three or four applications of glaze. On textured ware, the
glaze flows thin on relief and thick in incised areas, giving an added
dimension on the surface.
