Loading: Lid position, when open, rests at an angle away from the kiln without lid supports so that the loading is easy and unobstructed.

Spring loaded hingefor “feather-lite” easy opening.

Heavy-duty 14 gauge full solid stand with multiple bends for strength. Bolt on legs.

Assembly: Three 9” high sections stack on top of each other. Easy to assemble. Bottom is reversible.

Construction: Stainless steel wrapped around brick with 3 clamps on each section. All stainless screws.

2-1/2” or 3” K23 firebrick depending on model.

Reflective coating protects brick and reduces dusting.

Element Holders: Hard ceramic element holders protect brick.

Elements: Six heavy-duty graded elements.

Element Connections: Proprietary all-ceramic element connection block makes changing elements easy.

Control Panel: All controls and components are mounted in a hinged control panel/element connection box. A layer of insulation and separation plate helps keep the controls cool. Control box can be easily removed for servicing. On/off switch and control fuse are included.

One-Touch™ Intuitive Kiln Control easily fires the bisque and glaze programs typically used in schools. It is also easy to adjust simple parameters like cone, delay, hold, heat-up and cool-down rates. Also four custom ramp/hold programs with 8 segments each.

Relays: Mercury Free relays.

Type K 8 gauge with ceramic protection tubes prevent metallic dusting in kiln and result in longer thermocouple life.

Peephole Plugs: Non-fragile solid ceramic with heat-locked head. 1” diameter full-view non-tapered. One per section.

Power Cord/Plug: 50 Amp NEMA 6-50 six foot cord included for one phase; 50 Amp NEMA 15-50 six foot cord included for three phase.

1) One-Touch: Press one of two buttons marked BISQUE and GLAZE.

• You will then see either bISC or GLA
• Press ENTER and the kiln fires a slow Cone is when you see the FIRE display or while firing

2) Simple: It is easy to change simple parameters to customize your program. When the user presses Bisque or Glaze and the holds the button for 5 seconds then a series of options will appear:

• CndL Candle at a low temperature to dry out the work – expressed in hours and minutes
• COnE Choose the cone that the program fires to
• HLd Add a soak time at the end of the firing
• COOL Cool the kiln – Fast, Medium or Slow for special effects or thick work
• HEAT Speed of firing – Fast, Medium or Slow
• rStr Restore the original default settings
• The UP and DOWN button will allow adjustment of these values
• The internal program ramps are transparent to the user

3) Advanced: Press CUSTOM and you have four regular Ramp/Soak programs open for custom programming. Each program has eight segments with a ramp, set point and hold for each segment.
