The digital 14-9SSP china painting kiln is 2" deeper than the earlier X-14J and of single-piece construction. The Paragon 14-9SSP kiln uses the Sentry Xpress 3-key digital controller.

Experiment with temperature hold to achieve brilliant, saturated china colors. The Paragon 14-9SSP kiln fires to 1700°F on a 120 volt, 20 amp, 5-20R outlet.

The lid comes with a lock-in lid support for easy loading and the Prop-R-Vent for two stage venting of china paint fumes. The stand, complete with mar-proof plastic feet, is tall enough to accommodate the optional Orton Vent Master.

The heavy gauge stainless steel case is cold-rolled to the shape of the kiln for a tight fit. A heavy galvanized steel base covers the reversible brick bottom completely. It folds up under the stainless case on all sides to strengthen the firing chamber. This is one more assurance that your Paragon 14-9SSP kiln is built to last.

Wires are fastened to the elements with heat-dissipating connectors refined and proven over many years in Paragon kilns. Elements of the china painting kiln are coiled from the finest high-temperature wire available.

The Sentry Xpress 3-key controller is packed with features. On ceramic kilns, the controller includes Cone-Fire and 8-segment Ramp-Hold modes. (Note: Ramp-Hold and Cone-Fire on the Sentry Xpress do not include some of the advanced features of the 12-key Sentry 2.0.) The china painting kiln comes with a heavy duty rolling stand, 18” Square x 12” High A deluxe, rock solid kiln stand with locking casters is included at no extra charge. You will enjoy the convenience of effortlessly moving the kiln out of the way when not in use. The stand has a mounting bracket for the Orton Kiln Vent and a greenware drying rack. To install an Orton Kiln Vent, slide the vent collection cup into the vent bracket. The new stand eliminates the need for the collection cup mounting bolt.
