The simple, inexpensive, manual, top-loading Dura-Fire kiln meets the needs of potters and others who need an extremely durable yet inexpensive manual kiln. Everything about this kiln is designed for easy maintenance and rugged reliability. The elements used are the same heavy-duty elements used on L&L’s Easy-Fire kilns. The high-medium-low turn-up switches extend element life by using low voltage for low heat and reducing the amount of switching to the elements. The elements, control panel, Dawson kiln sitter/timer are all incredibly easy and logical to work on.
