MULTI-ZONE DESIGN

• Whether you order a manual or an automatic, every DaVinci kiln is multi-zoned.
• Each 9" section (and optional powered bottom) has its own separate contactor or manual infinite switch.
• In the case of the four or five section automatic kilns the middle sections operate together as one zone.
• For automatic kilns the optional powered bottom is tied into the bottom zone. However, the DynaTrol allows you to adjust how much of the bottom's power is used (from 10% to 100%).
  

VERSATILITY OF SIZE - SECTIONALIZED CONSTRUCTION

• All DaVinci production kilns are sectionalized.
• You can increase or decrease the size by adding or removing a section.
• Save on electric bills for small loads yet have ample firing capacity.
• Add capacity in the future.
• Control boxes are sized for 5 zones (even on smaller kilns) and extra circuits can be added by the factory in the future if ever needed.

DYNATROL AUTOMATIC CONTROL - WITH FOUR EASY CERAMIC PROGRAMS

  and the Dawson kiln sitter/timer. .
• Operation of the kiln, including zone control for even firing, is completely automated.
• There are four easy-to-use "Easy-Fire" ceramic programs.
• There are six user defined programs for more sophisticated firing.

DYNATROL IS IN HANDHELD PANEL

• On DaVinci kilns the DynaTrol is mounted in a separate hand-held box that plugs into the power contactor panel.
• This control box can hang on the wall or a supplied bracket that attaches to the counterbalance pole.
  

DYNAMIC ZONE CONTROL FOR EVEN FIRING

• Dynamic Zone Control automatically controls a top, middle and bottom zone for accuracy better than 1/2 cone top to bottom.
• L&L does not charge extra for this great feature - others do.

MULTI-ZONE CONTROL WITH INFINITE ZONE SWITCHES

• Infinitely variable input switches (one for each section) adjust thermal gradients to prevent uneven heating. These control the power contactors.
• They are more adjustible than simple High-Medium-Low type switches.
• Switches have an off position.
  

DAWSON KILN SITTER/TIMER

• A Dawson LT3 (with back-up safety timer) shuts kiln off.
• The Dawson is mounted several inches away from kiln case (with air in between) in its own separate panel box to keep it cool and improve the contactor life.

• Because the DaVinci kilns come in 9" high sections, they can be easily moved and set up. They can be moved through any standard 32" wide doorway because even the largest sections can be turned on their side. There are four chest handles on each section for easy lifting and moving.
