Amaco Potery Glazes are reliable, predictable and easy to use. Amaco Glazes offer a wide variety of colors and effects for electric and reduction firing. Many Amaco pottery glazes are lead free and classroom safe.

Amaco manufactures over 500 glazes, underglazes, and overglazes with firing ranges from Cone 022 to Cone 5. Many colors will also fire to Cone 10. Each glaze or underglaze series offers its own unique appearance giving the artist unlimited creative expression.

82% of all Amaco glazes and 97% of all Amaco underglazes are AP NON-TOXIC making them safe to use by students as well as professional artists. In addition, 94.6% of Amaco Glazes are LEAD FREE!. AMACO GUM SOLUTION:
Add AMACO� Gum Solution to glazes to improve their brushability and slow their drying time which results in a more even and consistent application. Old, thick glazes can be brought back to their original creamy consistency by adding some water and a little gum solution. AMACO� Gum Solution will prevent glazes from drying fast and cracking.

After using Underglaze Pencils and Crayons, spray a diluted coat of Gum Solution all over the surface to seal the underglaze. Let it dry, then brush on a clear glaze. The Gum Solution seal will prevent the colors from smearing while brushing on the glaze.
